Motorcycle burn from touching exhaust pipe?

I got a motorcycle burn from touching the exhaust pipe, it is about two inches wide on my leg. It blistered right away after I touched the pipe and then the blister broke. Now the place where the blister burned and popped has blood forming in it. It’s swelling a little bit so I’m afraid that it might have gotten infected, so I started taking an antibiotic called Levequin just in case. If I put Neosporin on it, will it heal faster? Or should I just let it air dry and not put any ointment on it?
Thank you for the help!!!!

Air is the best medicine. neosporin if you wish, a little wheeping is good, it keeps infection out. I hope your branding doesn’t say fmf with a couple screws on eather side lol. for scaring you can use maderma, thats what the pro’s use, it is available at your finer food and drug stores.

  1. wait until it scabs over… then use Vitamin E cream on it twice a day….

  3. Same thing happenned to my gf when I took her riding. Don’t put a bandaid on it, it needs air to heal, you need to leave burns exposed. Put peroxide on it, stronger than neosporin. You should also buy vitamin e capsuls lesss than $5 at the store, rub that on the burn, it helps healing and also will make it less likely you’ll get a scar
