i have these pipes http://www.motorcycle-exhaust.com/product/MORACE750creepers.html and i know its illegal to run straight pipes so i was wondering if anyone knew where i can find baffles for this exhaust system?
It would be nice if they had them to fit the pipes.

I just put a new two brothers flange on canister exhaust and slipping it on i put the gasket sealer on and i tightned the three bolts that hold it on to the pipe. When i started the bike i had condensation leaking from the flange on the bottom. So how is that? I put gasket sealer on where the canister hits the ring on the flange. Do i need to put more sealer on. After i rode around and let it idle it was fine. So?? Just wondering if that is normal. Thanks
Its fine when the engine is warm / hot.
All metals will expand, so it will fill the gaps.

I recently received a ’severe first degree burn’ from a Motorcycle Exhaust Pipe. Last night my blister was ripped open and now the under skin is exposed and stinging like mad. Should I cover it, leave it open, put anything on it?
Really you should go to the hospital to get it cleaned and dressed properly to prevent any infection.

I have shotgun exhaust pipes on my motorcycle, while I was riding in the rain, my rear tire slipped out from underneath me, I was able to control the bike, however, a section a my lower pipe received some pretty good scratches. Anyone have any cost efficient repair tips?
There’s a product called "Mothers" you can purchase this at Shucks and probably other automotive places..Shines and buffs out scratches in chrome.

When the motorcycle’s engine is running at ideal speed, it look like that the smoke is coming out only small amount. But once I shutdown the engine, it looks like the smoke had increase. I traced the left exhaust manifold back to the cylinder block and it goes back to the aft cylinder block. Would the trace of smoke have to do anything with, new set of spark pugs, fresh oil change and coolant flush?
1 check plugs
2 see if water got into oil and oil into coolant [bad head/headgasget]

It is a 1980 Honda cx500. The pipes are rusted no holes just really rough. The bike is otherwise in excellent shape. They are MAC 2 into 1. That is what I am planning on replacing them with. Just wanting to know if this will effect the carbs.
how long has the bike run with rusted out pipes… the carbs may have adjusted themselves to the pipes with holes, so when you put on new pipes, it may be outta whack. probably not tho.
i would replace the exhaust gaskets along with the new pipe. I personally would have the carbs cleaned and set up again, that is an old bike.

i have a yamaha 1100 vstar 5EL5 muffler and my jeeps muffler just blew a hole. now i know it may be tricky to bolt on due to the shape and weight and pricy to get a pipe bent to fit. but will the exhaust sound be too loud that i will be pulled over? what am i not taking into consideration?
Yea its legal. But its a horrible idea. Go to autozone buy a $20 glasspack and to clamps. Call it a day.

Hi All! Got a new Harley Fat Boy and love it to pieces. It is gonna be gettin real cold here in Arkansas soon. I have problems staying warm when I’m riding sometimes. I tried running a dryer exhaust hose from one of my pipes up the back of my riding suite and it melted a few miles down the road. Is there a better way to rowt the hot air coming out of the bike into my jacket? I think it will work but I keep meltin hoses. What do you guys use? Bill
as long as you put some good buds in the pipes ! you will be high enough to notice that your not cold

I have staggered exhaust and there is a chrome plate that decovrates the belt wheel and also the more rear exhaust pipe which is chrome and the aluminum alloy wheel. I am not looking to get special Harley bike cleaner. Anyone know any tricks to disolve stuck on exhaust that blackens bike parts?
Go to your nearest auto parts store and buy a can of foaming degreaser. Spray it on your bike and let it work its majic, then rinse of with a strong stream of water.
